Tweed Heads sits at the far north of the NSW coast, with Coolangatta just across the border. Most building work here is residential and commercial: units near the water, new estates at Kingscliff, Terranora and Bilambil Heights, and retail and health work around Tweed Heads South. Further inland, Murwillumbah and the Tweed Valley bring civil, rural and residential jobs.
The border adds a couple of quirks. Queensland doesn’t use daylight saving, so in summer the two sides run an hour apart, and trade licences are issued by each state. When you book, tell us which side the site is on and we’ll check each person holds the licences that apply there.
