Riggers & Dogmen supplied by TradeConnex

Hiring riggers & dogmen through TradeConnex

Every crane lift needs a licensed dogman slinging the load and directing the operator, and bigger installs need riggers to erect steel, precast and plant. On renewables projects, tower and turbine erection runs on riggers, dogmen and crane crews.

We supply riggers and dogmen to renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including the Dinawan Substation, alongside the trades and plant operators those sites need. See our wind energy and battery storage work.

We check the High Risk Work licence class matches the lift (dogging, or basic, intermediate or advanced rigging) before any talent is put forward.

What they do on site

  • Sling and secure loads for crane lifts
  • Direct crane operators by hand signals and radio
  • Inspect slings, shackles and lifting gear before use
  • Erect structural steel, precast panels and plant
  • Install and dismantle hoists, safety nets and static lines
  • Assist with wind turbine and BESS installation lifts
