At Yarranlea Solar Farm, about 50km west of Toowoomba, we supplied 70 talent for Monford / Risen Energy in 2019, including excavator, skid steer and telehandler operators, quality assurance teams and skilled labourers, for the installation of 372,833 PV modules on single-axis trackers. At Oakey 2 Solar Farm, 30km north-west of Toowoomba, we placed more than 90 talent with Sequentia Services in 2020 for mechanical rectification after storm damage, including solar labourers, lead hands, plant operators and QA teams.
Near Chinchilla, our team of 100 at Blue Grass Solar Farm installed more than 67,500 piles, with mechanics, welders, piling rig and excavator operators and an HSE advisor in the crew. We also supplied operators and tradespeople to Columboola Solar Farm (25+ talent) and to Western Downs Solar Farm (15+ talent), where the work covered both the solar farm and its battery energy storage system.
On Yarranlea, Oakey 2 and Blue Grass we also provided vehicles to move crews around site. In Toowoomba itself, we supply labourers, plant operators and trades for civil, industrial and residential work.
