Central West NSW has become one of the state’s main solar regions, and TradeConnex has supplied talent to projects across it since 2017.
At Wollar Solar Farm in the Central Tablelands, a 280MWac project with around 660,000 panels, we placed more than 100 talent across multiple contractors, from construction managers and engineers to module installers, plant operators and general labourers. South-east of Dubbo, we supplied more than 80 talent to the mechanical installation at Wellington Solar Farm and 25+ labourers and operators to Wellington North.
West of Orange, more than 50 talent worked on Manildra Solar Farm, including excavator, skid steer and telehandler operators and quality assurance teams. Near Forbes, our formwork carpenters and concreters built the access-road culverts at Jemalong Solar Farm.

At Wollar Solar Farm we supported multiple contractors for a year, with one of the widest mixes of roles of any project we've crewed, from site leadership and HSE to HV cable jointers and HC drivers.
