Labourers and trades for commercial refurbishment and fitout, much of it inside buildings that stay open during the works. We have crewed Sydney colleges, a university library and a casino through live programs.
Most of our commercial work has been refurbishment in buildings that never fully close. At Fisher Library at the University of Sydney, we kept labourers on site from December 2022 to October 2023 while the campus stayed active. At Star Casino, we supplied labourers on a flexible basis through refurbishment works in a trading venue from January to April 2023.
Heritage colleges add their own constraints. St Paul’s College had a Christmas shutdown that could not be extended, and our 10 general labourers helped strip out and refurbish four bathrooms and convert a laundry into a kitchenette before students returned in February 2024. At Wesley College, seven labourers supported the roof space fitout from May to July 2024 inside an occupied building.
We also supply regular maintenance and grounds talent to the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
