Project Overview of Fisher Library
Fisher Library at The University of Sydney is one of Australia’s most significant academic libraries, and in 2022 it underwent a major programme of refurbishment and upgrade works. Delivering construction activity within a live, active campus environment presented unique challenges around safety, access and minimising disruption to students and staff.
Workforce Support in a Live Campus Environment
TradeConnex supported the project by supplying skilled labourers on an ongoing basis throughout the build, providing consistent workforce coverage from December 2022 through to October 2023. Rather than a single large mobilisation, our value here was in reliable, flexible supply over the long term, making sure the right workers were available when and where they were needed across each stage of the works.
This project is a good example of TradeConnex’s ability to operate across a broad range of environments, from remote solar farms to heritage-listed inner-city institutions, and deliver the same standard of workforce support regardless of the setting.
