The Tailem Bend 2 Solar Farm, a significant renewable energy project spanning 207 hectares, has successfully come online, delivering 87MW of clean solar power to the grid.

Generating power for about 37,000 Australian homes annually, the Tailem Bend 2 Solar Farm significantly boosts Australia’s renewable energy goals. This clean energy also prevents over 207,000 tonnes of annual carbon dioxide emissions, comparable to planting over 3.4 million trees.

TradeConnex supplied over 100 Skilled workers, Operators & Trades for the Tailem Bend 2 Solar Farm. To support the remote location, TradeConnex fostered a strong sense of community amongst the workforce and implemented on-site incentives to enhance worker morale and encourage productivity.

The Tail Bend 2 Solar Farm boasts a maximum generation output of 87 MW of renewable energy, sufficient to power the average annual needs of 35,000 homes, reducing more than 207,000 tons of CO2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions – the equivalent of planting more than 3.4 million trees.
