Project Overview
The Aldoga Solar Farm is a major renewable energy project located approximately 20km north-west of Gladstone, Queensland. With a capacity of up to 480MW and spanning over 1,100 hectares, the project includes more than 430,000 solar panels and forms part of Queensland’s growing renewable energy network. Now fully operational, it generates enough clean energy to power approximately 185,000 Australian homes annually.
Piling and Installation Support
TradeConnex was brought on to support piling and installation works throughout the construction phase, placing 100 workers on site across key stages of the build. The team included solar labourers, plant operators and a HD mechanic.
Project Outcome
Our workers supported the installation of over 65,000 piles, more than 5,500 trackers and over 430,000 panels across a large-scale, multi-stage site. Keeping a team of that size performing consistently across such a significant build required careful coordination and reliable workforce management throughout. Aldoga is a great example of what a skilled, well-supported team can deliver on one of Queensland’s most important renewable energy projects.
