Project Overview
The Culcairn Solar Farm is one of the largest solar projects in New South Wales, located approximately 45km north of Albury. With a capacity of up to 440MWp and spanning around 1,000 hectares, the project is expected to generate enough clean energy to power approximately 160,000 Australian homes every year.
Early Stage Workforce Support
TradeConnex was brought on to support the early stages of construction, placing 60 workers on site to assist with piling and initial construction works. The team included piling operators, telehandler operators and solar farm labourers.
Over the course of the project, our workers supported the installation of over 75,000 piles and contributed to mechanical installation across multiple NEXTracker blocks.
Outcome at Culcairn Solar Farm
Having a reliable, experienced team in place during the critical early phase helped keep the project moving safely and on schedule. Culcairn is a strong example of how dependable workforce support from the ground up can set a major renewable energy project up for success.
