The Glenrowan Solar Farm, a 130MWdc solar project located 2km southwest of Glenrowan, Victoria, is poised to make a significant contribution to the state’s renewable energy goals.
Importantly, the Glenrowan Solar Farm supports the Victorian Government’s Renewable Energy Target (VRET). This ambitious project plays a crucial role in accelerating Victoria’s transition to a carbon-neutral future.
Successfully constructing a large-scale solar farm like Glenrowan presents unique challenges. For example, recruiting and managing a skilled workforce can be complex. However, TradeConnex played a vital role in overcoming these challenges. We supplied a skilled workforce, including tradespeople, laborers, and operators.
TradeConnex recognised the importance of a positive working environment. This led the team to became actively involved in a local football comp that developed a strong connection to the local community. Additionally, TradeConnex provided support to ensure the well-being of the workforce, contributing to improved morale and productivity.
The Glenrowan Solar Farm demonstrates the successful collaboration between project developers and workforce providers. This project highlights the importance of a skilled and motivated workforce in achieving Victoria’s renewable energy goals.
