At TradeConnex  we are working with an engineering services provider who are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Sydney-based team. The business delivers large-scale electrical, HVAC, infrastructure and technology solutions across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, defence, commercial, infrastructure and data centres.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, coordination and delivery of mechanical systems across commercial and infrastructure projects
• Work closely with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Assist with procurement of equipment and materials in line with project requirements
• Ensure mechanical installations are completed in accordance with Australian standards and project specifications
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning phases
• Monitor project progress and assist with resolving technical or design issues on site
• Support cost control, scheduling and reporting across project stages
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients and contractors

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3–8 years’ experience working on mechanical systems within construction, infrastructure or building services
• Experience working with HVAC, building services or large-scale mechanical installations
• Strong understanding of Australian standards and engineering best practices
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience working alongside site teams and subcontractors
