Your Role:
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for civil and rail projects.
  • Play a critical role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money while delivering high-quality civil and rail projects
  • Managing and controlling project expenditures to meet financial objectives.
  • Conducting valuations, cost analysis, and risk management.
  • Liaising with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost assessments.
  • Monitoring financial progress, identifying any variances from the project budget, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Preparing reports and contractual documents, including claims and variations.
What You Bring:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the civil or rail industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost control processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Project, Excel, and cost management tools.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
