About the Role 
We are seeking experienced HDPE Welder to join our team on a major tunneling project. This role involves welding and installing polyethylene (HDPE) pipework for dewatering, drainage, and utility services within tunnel environments. You will be responsible for ensuring all welding and pipe installations meet engineering specifications and safety standards.
  
What You’ll Do: 

• Welding, fabricating, and installing HDPE pipelines for water, slurry, and drainage systems within tunnel infrastructure.
• Performing butt welding, electrofusion welding, and extrusion welding as per project requirements
• Pressure testing welded pipelines to ensure integrity and compliance with project standards
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure correct pipework installations.
• Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on poly pipe systems
• Collaborating with engineers, crews, and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health & safety (WHS) and environmental regulations.

  
What We’re Looking For: 

• UG pipeline experience essential
• Mining/project experience preferred
• Must be experienced and competent on machinery/welding equipment listed
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Current OH&S White card 
• Availability to start ASAP
