About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HSE Adviser to join our team on a FIFO 2:1 roster. This role plays a key part in ensuring site compliance while actively promoting a strong and positive safety culture across operations.
Working closely with site management, contractors, and client representatives, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day health and safety activities on site
- Promote and drive a proactive safety-first culture
- Take responsibility for WHS matters in the absence of the Project Manager
- Implement and maintain Site Safety Rules, procedures, and instructions
- Manage and implement HSE documentation, including HSEMPs, SWMS, policies, and procedures
- Review, update, and implement SWMS for high-risk construction activities
- Conduct site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings
- Liaise with clients and contractor representatives to ensure compliance
- Facilitate HSE meetings as required
- Assist with incident and injury management, including return-to-work plans
- Verify licences, VOCs, and certifications for site personnel
- Conduct training, SOPs, and VOC assessments in line with Training Needs Analysis
About You - Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HSE role within construction, resources, or infrastructure environments
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and site-based safety systems
- Confident communicator who can engage site teams and stakeholders
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working autonomously on FIFO sites
