HSE Advisor – Renewables Project | Regional NSW
We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join an active utility-scale solar project based in regional NSW. This is a hands-on, site-based role working alongside an experienced and well-established project team.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support day-to-day site safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively managing site safety and supporting incident prevention
- Conducting HSE inspections, audits, and compliance reporting
- Reviewing, implementing, and managing SWMS
- Supporting incident and near-miss investigations
- Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training
- Sharing safety alerts and lessons learned across the project
- Engaging with subcontractors to drive compliance and positive safety behaviours
- Preparing basic HSE reports and dashboards
Contract & Benefits - Short term contract with potential extension

About You - Previous experience in an advisor role within construction, renewables, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and site safety systems
- Confident engaging with site teams and subcontractors
- Proactive, practical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment
- Solar or renewable energy experience highly regarded
