About the Role 
As an Excavator Operator with TradeConnex, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. 
  
What You’ll Do: 

• Excavating and Trenching for Utilities – Digging trenches for pipelines, cables, drainage, and other underground utilities according to project specifications.
• Site Preparation and Earthmoving – Clearing land, removing debris, and reshaping terrain.
• Grading and Compaction Work – Leveling and compacting surfaces to create stable foundations.
• Final Trim work.
• Loading and Transporting Materials – Using the excavator bucket to load soil, gravel, and other materials into trucks for transport or redistribution.
• Following Safety and Environmental Regulations – Conducting pre-start checks, ensuring safe operation near workers and structures, and minimizing environmental impact during excavation.

  
What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience as an Excavator Operator 
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• VOC and SOA required. 
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Current OH&S White card/Relevant tickets to operate machinery. 
• Availability to start ASAP
