We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to oversee all civil construction activities on a large-scale solar farm project in regional NSW. This role is critical in ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of all civil works, including earthworks, trenching, piling, roadworks, and structural foundations.
You will be responsible for coordinating on-site crews, subcontractors, and plant operators, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, environmental standards, and WHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction works including:
- Bulk earthworks
- Drainage systems
- Access roads
- Trenching and conduit installation
- Structural concrete and piling
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, plant operators, and labour teams
- Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Maintain daily site diaries, reports, and progress updates
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and assist with HSE audits
- Interface with engineers, project managers, and other supervisors to resolve issues proactively
- Ensure materials and plant are available to meet construction targets
- Enforce environmental and erosion control measures per site plan
- Drive a strong safety culture across all site activities
