TradeConnex is hiring on behalf of a leading client for experienced Piling Rig Operators in the solar industry to work on a solar Project in Christchurch NZ. If you have a background in operating Gayk, Orteco, or Vermeer rigs, this opportunity offers stable work, career growth, and the chance to be part of Australia’s largest projects.

What We Offer:

• Hourly Rate: $35 - $40ph
• Stability : Ongoing position 
• Monday - Friday

The Role: You’ll be crucial to the success of major renewable projects, responsible for:

• Operating Gayk, Orteco, or Vermeer piling rigs to complete foundation works
• Conducting pre-start inspections and ensuring machinery safety
• Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on-site
• Following project specifications to meet targets and maintain quality
• Working closely with the site team to ensure efficient operations
• Complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, fostering a culture of safety

About You: To be successful, you should bring:

• Proven experience with Gayk, Orteco, or Vermeer piling rigs
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• Valid Site safe pass
• WTR endorsement on Driving license.  
• A strong focus on teamwork and HSE compliance
• experience working on solar farms/similar environment
