We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a solar farm in Orange, NSW. This role offers a competitive $80 per hour and the chance to step into a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects across NSW with a leading industry developer.
About the Role As the Site Manager, you’ll ensure the project runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll oversee the principal contractor, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety legislation, council approvals, and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities
Review and oversee subcontractor qualifications and technical compliance.
Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) standards – including SWMS, JSEA, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits.
Manage site access, permits (Working at Heights, Confined Space, Hot Works, etc.), and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor and report on safety, environmental risks, and project progress.
Oversee construction works to ensure alignment with engineered designs and client requirements.
Inspect materials and deliveries, monitor progress claims, and maintain quality assurance.
Support mobilisation and demobilisation, commissioning (FAT, SAT), and project closeout.
Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain project efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in site management or supervisory roles within construction or renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, quality assurance, and environmental management.
Ability to manage subcontractors, enforce compliance, and deliver on project milestones.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, solutions-driven approach with a commitment to safety and quality.
