About the Role 
As a Telehandler Operator with TradeConnex, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. 
  
What You’ll Do: 

• Transporting Solar Panels and Racking Materials
  
  • Move pallets of panels, steel racking, and mounting hardware from laydown areas to installation zones efficiently and safely.
• Assisting with Panel Installation at Height
  
  • Use a telehandler with a man basket or boom extension to lift workers, tools, or panels to elevated areas of the solar array structure.
• Loading and Unloading Deliveries
  
  • Operate the telehandler to offload trucks carrying mechanical and electrical components, ensuring safe handling of fragile or bulky materials.
• Supporting Trenching and Civil Works
  
  • Move sand, conduit, or backfill material to trench locations; support earthworks teams by repositioning materials or equipment as needed.
• Maintaining Health and Safety Standards
  
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks, follow exclusion zones and lifting plans, communicate with spotters, and operate within site-specific SWMS and HSE protocols.

What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience as a Telehandler Operators on a similar Project.
• Telehandler Ticket and relevant experience mandatory.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Current OH&S White card.
• Availability to start ASAP.
