About the Role 
As a Carpenter with TradeConnex, You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of facilities. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating and carrying out general repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor construction work, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.  
  
What You’ll Do: 

• Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
• Install and replace flooring, skirting boards, and wall panels as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct inspections to identify structural issues or wear and tear in carpentry elements
• Carry out minor framing, drywall repairs, and general carpentry upkeep.
• Ensure all carpentry work complies with safety standards and building codes.

  
What We’re Looking For: 

• Proven experience as a Carpenter doing maintenance around grounds. 
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry and repair work.
• Have your own tools and transport.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• Experience in leading a team, delegating tasks, and managing workloads
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Current OH&S White card 
• Basic IT knowledge to access database etc. 
• Availability to start ASAP
