About the Role 
As a HD Mechanic with TradeConnex, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. 
  
What You’ll Do: 

•  Diagnose and Repair Construction Equipment – Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction machinery such as Forklifts, Telehandlers and piling rigs.  
•  Perform Preventative Maintenance – Conduct regular servicing, lubrication, and component inspections to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency on-site.
•  Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Maintenance – Repair and maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, and pneumatic systems critical for construction machinery operation.
•  Welding and Fabrication for Equipment Repairs – Carry out minor welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to reinforce and repair structural components of heavy equipment.
•  Ensure Safety and Compliance – Adhere to workplace safety regulations, complete maintenance logs, and follow industry standards to keep construction site equipment safe and operational.

  
What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience in Heavy Duty machinery such as Forklifts, Telehandlers and Piling rigs.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. 
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Availability to start ASAP.
