About the Role 
As a Formwork Carpenter with TradeConnex, you’ll be an essential part of our team, providing seamless, professional service to our clients. This role is perfect for someone with solid experience in formwork who is ready to contribute to a variety of exciting projects. 
What You’ll Do: 

• Construct, erect, install, and dismantle formwork and shuttering for concrete structures in line with project specifications.
• Work closely with concreters and site supervisors to ensure timely and accurate formwork for pours.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. 
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine formwork layout and dimensions.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, or steel forms using hand and power tools.  
• Reinforcement Work – Place and secure steel reinforcement (reo bars and mesh) within formwork before concrete is poured.
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and company policies. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Hold a current OH&S White card. 
• Proven experience as a formwork carpenter on civil construction projects (e.g., bridges, roads, foundations).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
• Ideally Someone with their own tools.
• Availability to start ASAP.
