About the Role:
This casual site-based position is all about boots on the ground leadership in WHS. As the HSE Advisor, you’ll drive our client’s safety culture from the inside, ensuring compliance, inspiring best practice, and championing the wellbeing of everyone on-site.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Champion WHS across the site and lead by example
• Coordinate and facilitate site-specific safety inductions, toolbox talks and pre-starts
• Take ownership of HSE protocols when the Project Manager is off-site
• Implement and monitor HSE documentation (HSEMPs, SWMS, policies etc.)
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and corrective actions
• Manage incident investigations and implement return-to-work plans
• Keep accurate site safety statistics and report on findings
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class safety standards
• Lead internal audits and support system compliance
• Provide training (task/tool SOPs, VOCs) and verify plant pre-starts and VOCs

What You Bring:

• Cert IV or Diploma in WHS or similar
• 3+ years' experience in a similar site-based HSE role (solar/renewables preferred)
• A proactive mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
• Current White Card, First Aid/CPR, and incident investigation qualifications
• Ability to build rapport with site teams and drive a positive safety culture
