About the Role 
As a Maintenance Assistant/Handyman with TradeConnex, you’ll be an essential part of our team, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. 
  
What You’ll Do: 

• Perform minor carpentry work, including repairing doors, walls, and furniture.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures.
• Carry out general repairs around the school, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. 
• Assist with painting, patching, and maintaining walls as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools, following safety guidelines. 
• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work as part of a team.  

  
What We’re Looking For: 

• Experience in a handyman, maintenance, or similar trade role.
• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. 
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safety and following site regulations. 
• Current OH&S White card 
• Availability to start ASAP
